I became interested in photography in the mid 90s with my own SLR, a Minolta 5Xi. After a number of years I allowed my interest to wane. I was ahead of my time, really I wanted a digital format camera, I just didn't know it. I caught the photo bug again in the early 00s when I purchased a digital Sony DSC-V1, with its manual settings it allowed my experimental side to flourish. In the mid 00s I was very fortunate to be gifted a Minolta 7D, this was the camera that started me on the path I am on now. Since then Ive been shooting with the full frame Sony A900 & A99. I am interested in all aspects of photography, but I particularly enjoy land/ cityscapes.
